The title of this one is… hm, let’s say it’s questionable. Or maybe not, but these flowers are kind of MY favorite flowers, and they are for me, from me.. So I guess they are for my favorite… me? lol
It’s been a loong time, without you my friend…. Well let me spare you my singing for now, and tell you what I’ve been up to lately. I have been creating art like a crazy person! Well, at least for the last couple of weeks in preparation for my first ever SURTEX! I won’t be there personally, but my agent Mary Beth at Pink Light Studio will. Super excited to have my work there. Unfortunately I can’t really show anything here, yet, besides for one little sneak peak that Mary Beth already posted on instagram and my Surtex flyer.

100 day project: Plants

You might have heard about the 100 day project before, if not you can read about it right here. My project will be to create a plant a day. It can be digitally, paint, sketchbook,… just anything that I’m up to at that day. Anyone else doing or have done the 100 days? Would love to see!
Here are the first 9 plants, super excited and hopeful.
Birds I created for this week’s assignment for Johanna Fritz Fritziflock. If you want to check it out just search for the Fritzi Flock on Facebook (or look at instagram). It’s a great and inspiring group of illustrators of all levels, and anyone is welcome.
I’ve been busy finishing up a lot of artwork for Printsource. I just recently signed with Pink Light Studio to be my agent, and I’m SO happy and proud. So excited for my work being at Printsource this year. I have a feeling this will be a great year.
I guess bears in sweaters never go out of fashion, here is my interpretation.
